Aluminium Ford Ranger Rhinoman Canopy for NEXT GEN, PX1,PX2 and PX3 Double and Super Cabs.

Two canopy models to chose from:

  • XPEDITION Canopy with solid aluminium gullwing side doors.
  • XTREME Canopy with glass gullwing side doors with integrated bonded side sliding windows.

Available in BLACK or WHITE satin powder-coat rippled finish. The glass doors at the rear and front on both the Xpedition and the Xtreme canopies, as well as the side doors on the Xtreme canopy are always black in colour. Front has a sliding window and built in positive airflow vent, the rear door has an internal brake light  Colour coding options are available but you will need to contact us directly to obtain a quote and place an order.

Dynamic load rating is 250Kg, and a 2 year manufacturers warranty.

Ford Ranger Rhinoman Canopy - Overview

If you're looking for a practical, reliable, great looking canopy that will serve your needs at work, holiday breaks or extended touring trips then the Rhinoman Canopy is for you. The Ford Ranger Rhinoman Canopy is an automotive grade aluminium canopy with a unique and stylish design that is incredibly strong and tough.  Canopies are available for the Ford Ranger Next Gen, PX1, PX2 and PX3 models in Double and Super Cab variants.

The Rhinoman canopies are incredibly tough and perfect for Australian off-road conditions. In a destruction test undertaken by The Bush Company a Rhinoman canopy withstood over 7.6 tonnes of static load on the roof (see video here), so rooftop tents, boat loaders and tinnies will be no problem.

Rhinoman Canopy Accessories

There are a range of options available for Rhinoman Xpedition & Xtreme Canopies offered by The Bush Company including:

  • Explorer Roof Rack (1400mm long and 1200mm wide) fully welded aluminium heavy duty rack.
  • Heavy Duty Load Bar that flush mounts to the roof rails on the canopy, 1200mm long, 50mm wide, 25mm high.
  • Drop Down Camping Table with frame that mounts to the underside of the canopy roof.  The table is food grade stainless steel 116cm long and 76cm wide.
  • Shelving Units that provide storage solution in the side doors, these mount directly to pre-installed nutserts in the frame.
  • Canopy Shelf Utility Bag which fits in the Shelving Units and provides great storage.
  • Camping Dining Set 6 Place which fits in the Shelving Units.

Fitting Your Rhinoman Canopy

We recommend having your canopy fitted by a professional fitment centre, but if you choose to install the canopy yourself please make sure that you have done the due-diligence on your intended install to ensure that it does not create any safety issues and ensure that you follow standard safety precautions when undertaking the install.

Rhinoman canopies are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards to perform as they should.

  • All Rhinoman Xpedition Canopies carry a 2-Year Manufacturer Warranty
  • All RhinoLite Canopies carry a 2-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Please contact us if you require any assistance with your canopy. Replacement parts and windows are readily available, but in some cases may have to be sourced from the Rhinoman factory in South Africa.

The serial number of your canopy can be found on the inside of the canopy. Keep this number in a safe place for insurance purposes.

Remember that the best place for a canopy is on your vehicle, and Rhinoman cannot be held responsible for any damages or water leaks if the canopy has been removed from your vehicle.

All claims under this warranty should be made by returning the product at your cost to either The Bush Company Head Office on the Sunshine Coast, or the stockist where you purchased the product. Please provide written details of the fault with supporting pictures if possible, proof of purchase, proof of identification and vehicle fitment details where relevant.

The Manufacturer’s warranty applies to the original purchaser only. If The Bush Company determine that a Rhinoman Canopy is defective in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, we will either repair or replace the product. Repair or replacement is solely at the discretion of The Bush Company. Rhinoman Canopies come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

This warranty does not apply to:

  • failure or damage caused by incorrect or faulty fitment
  • accidental or intentional damage
  • misuse or abuse
  • failure of other products
  • operation of the product outside of its environmental or technical specifications
  • repair or modification carried out by anyone other than The Bush Company or an authorised repair agent
  • no charges will be accepted for external labour or materials not authorised by The Bush Company

Rhinoman Canopies are designed for recreational and lifestyle applications and excludes competitive use. Due to the harshness of the mining environment, Rhinoman Canopies used in mining applications that may be operating outside of their environmental and technical specifications, are therefore excluded from the Manufacturer’s warranty. Rhinoman Canopies products used in mining applications are warranted for up to 1 year.

Local Pickup

All items are available for collection from The Bush Company at 14 Cessna Street, Marcoola, QLD 4564, please contact us to place your order and confirm date of collection.  Please note that due to insurance and health and safety issues, you cannot self-fit your purchase on our premises.

Small Items (Aus Post)

By default all small items will be shipped with Aus Post. Our collection days for Aus Post are Tuesday and Friday so please be aware of this when selecting Express Post option.  We aim to process all online order within 24 hours but collection can only be on Tuesday’s and Fridays.

Large Items (Courier Delivery)

Home Delivery

’Home Delivery ’ means a home or private residence, including locations where a business is operated from the home or private residence. For residential delivery of rooftop tents a forklift must be available at the delivery point and truck access, if this is not the case please contact us for a shipping quote to your nearest depot for collection. For all other items you specify in order notes it will be assumed that your items can left in a safe place at your home, in which case, The Bush Company is not accountable for any loss once delivery is made.

Business Delivery

If you select the Business or Depot delivery option and provide a residential address for shipping, we will ship the item to the nearest freight depot for you to collect from there. For delivery of rooftop tents to a commercial business premises a forklift must be available at the delivery point and truck access, if this is not the case please contact us for a shipping quote to your nearest depot for collection.

Depot Collection

If you want to have you items delivery to a depot for you to collect (often the cheapest option for large items) please contact us by email at info@thebushcompany.com.au or by phone +61 (07) 5302 6948 to obtain a shipping quote.

Damage In Transit

If you elect to have your items left in a safe place for home delivery, there is no opportunity for you to check that the item has arrived in good condition prior to accepting it, so The Bush Company cannot be held responsible for any claim for damage in transit or theft of items after delivery.

If you have elected to sign for your items (required for all tents and awnings) When the shipment arrives, it is essential that you check it thoroughly for any signs of damage before signing to accept the shipment.  This means checking the exterior box and if there are any signs of damage externally then the box should be opened, and the product examined for any signs of damage to the product itself.  This needs to be done before you sign anything to say that the item has been received, the driver needs to wait until you are satisfied.  If you are not satisfied with the condition of the item, then you are entitled to refuse delivery and the courier will have to return the product to us.

If you do not follow this procedure and it turns out that the item has been damaged in transit, then there is no way for us to claim on the freight insurance to cover any damage as you have signed to say that the product has been received in good condition.  Once you have signed for the delivery the courier company will interpret this as the item being delivered in good condition.  If you sign anything and are not satisfied you must ensure that this is noted by the driver in writing and obtain a copy that is signed by the driver.
